Regenerative Healthcare
Modern healthcare has lost touch with what it really means to be healthy. With its focus on preventing disease rather than promoting health, we find ourselves surviving instead of thriving. We need regenerative healthcare from the ground up.
Regenerative Healthcare's osteopathic philosophy recognises that the body, mind and spirit are self healing. The structure and function of the body's systems work in harmony to allow health to flourish. The human body is designed to find health, we just need to give it the time and space to do so. As in nature, the smallest elements in the soil form the foundation on which a healthy ecosystem is built and sustained. From our feet to our minds, humans have the ability to regenerate.

What is Osteopathy?
Osteopaths focus on the neuro-musculoskeletal system, which comprises bones, muscles, nerves and other tissues that support the human body and control its movements. They provide musculoskeletal and nervous system assessments, manual therapy, clinical exercise programs, as well as movement, postural advice and ergonomic assessments. Osteopaths may also offer ongoing support and educational advice about lifestyle, stress management, diet or other factors that may influence a person’s pain, injury or movement.
In Australia, Osteopaths are university-qualified and government registered allied health professionals who complete university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general healthcare diagnosis, and osteopathic technique. They take the time to listen and treat patients as a whole unit.
The Principles of Osteopathic Medicine
-
The body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit.
-
The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance.
-
Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated.
-
Rational treatment is based upon an understanding of the basic principles of body unity, self-regulation, and the interrelationship of structure and function.
